How to use it \u2014 4 steps

Frame the choice. Type the decision you\u2019re weighing into the command bar at the top \u2014 e.g. \u201cShould we raise GSTfy to \u20b94,999?\u201d or \u201cPartner with Tally or stay direct?\u201d HELM turns it into a card you can track.

Let it sit as \u201cAnalyzing\u201d. While you gather context \u2014 numbers, what the team thinks, what customers want \u2014 the decision stays open so it doesn\u2019t get forgotten.

Make the call. When you decide, mark it Decided and write the one-line reason in the CALL box \u2014 that sentence is what future-you will thank you for.

Or shelve it. Ideas you decide against are marked Shelved \u2014 still on record, so you don\u2019t re-debate the same thing in three months.
Tip: keep decisions to the ones that actually matter \u2014 the few-per-month calls that shape the company. Day-to-day to-dos belong in Tasks, not here.
